On this day in 1986, the Indians have base runners on first and second with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning when the game is delayed due to a dense fog coming off Lake Erie. Boston is credited with a 2-0 victory when the Cleveland Stadium contest cannot be continued, prompting Boston's Oil Can Boyd to comment, "What do you expect when they build a ball park on the ocean?".
