On this day in 1941, Al Benton becomes the first major leaguer to have two sacrifice bunts in one inning. The Tiger right-hander accomplishes the feat in the top of third inning, a frame that features 17 batters coming to bat, in an 11-2 rout of the Indians at Cleveland's League Park.
