The oldest player in the history of the NFL was George Blanda who retired at the age of 48. He played as a quarterback for the Bears, Baltimore Colts, and the Oakland Raiders.

The youngest buck award goes to Nigerian born, Amobi Okoye, who was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2007 at the age of 19. He was named Defensive Rookie of the Month for September 2007 after leading the AFC with four sacks.
