On this day in 1960, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 17-13 to win the NFL championship. Ted Dean scored a touchdown in the final quarter to provide the Eagles with the winning margin. This was the only playoff game that Vince Lombardi would ever lose as a head coach. It was also the last time the Eagles won an NFL championship.
