Aussie Rules

On January 21, 1990, John McEnroe joined a short list of tennis players to be booted from a Grand Slam event because of misconduct. In the third round of his match, McEnroe confronted a line judge during a changeover to argue with a call he didn't like. He was given a conduct violation. In the fourth set, he was given another for smashing his racket. After arguing with the supervisor, McEnroe was given his third conduct violation and was disqualified from the match.
